Icebreaker set to leave Halifax Harbour for Arctic expedition

Thu, Jul 21: The Canadian Coast Guard Ship Louis S. St-Laurent is set to leave Halifax Harbour on Friday for an expedition to the North Pole. Researchers on board will be mapping the ocean — data that will be invaluable for scientists but could also be critical in Canada’s claim to Arctic sovereignty. Rebecca Lau reports.
