Dallas mourns killing of police officers, protests against police violence held across US

Parts of downtown Dallas remain closed this morning as authorities continue investigating last week’s deadly ambush on police officers. Dallas police say the gunman, Micah Johnson, had plans for a larger attack. They’re calling last week’s incident, in which five officers died, a crime of opportunity. Don Champion reports.
