Sat, Jul 9: There were protests around the US following this week’s police shootings of black men in Louisiana and Minnesota. In Phoenix, about one thousand people chanted “black lives matter” and “hands up, don’t shoot” as they marched. The protest did end up with some people being pepper sprayed. There was a similar rally in Atlanta which remained peaceful. In San Francisco, about two-thousand protesters marched across downtown to a rally outside City Hall. Jennifer Johnson reports.
