B.C. hikers asked to keep eyes out for ‘pink snow’ algae

If you are heading out to the North Shore Mountains this weekend for some outdoor recreation, SFU researchers are hoping hikers can keep their eyes open for a phenomenon known as ‘pink snow.’ SFU researcher Laura Hilton explains what it is and why scientists want you to look out for pink snow.
