Extreme heat and ‘sun kinks’ on the rails could slow down GO Train and UP express

GO Train and UP express riders could expect a longer commute due to the extreme heat that could cause ‘sun kinks’ on the steel rails. All GO and UP Express trains are reducing speeds by about 20 kilometres per hour, which could add another 10 minutes to your trip.
