‘We honour all those taken from us by violent extremists’: Obama remembers slained Canadians

On Wednesday, Barack Obama paid tribute to Canadians Robert Hall and John Ridsdel – who were held hostage in the Philippines and killed – and said the U.S., along with Canada, will “destroy the terrorist group ISIL.” Obama also spoke about the importance of Muslims being valued members of society.
