Ombudsman report: Deadly police shootings blamed on poor training

Ontario’s ombudsman Paul Dubé released his “A Matter Of Life and Death” report on Wednesday, which found police need better training in de-escalation techniques, saying they get plenty of instruction on how to use their guns, but not enough on how to use their “mouths.”
