Day care providers are warning parents to be vigilant choosing child care as the province sees an upswing in the number of caregivers opening their doors. In the last year, 4,000 new approved and licensed spaces have popped up in Alberta and some day home providers say they’re seeing an increase in the number of private day homes too.
