The mass shooting in Orlando has re-ignited the gun control debate in Congress. A day after four gun control proposals were defeated in the US Senate, a group of lawmakers led by Republican Senator Susan Collins unveiled a fifth plan – one they call a “bipartisan compromise” to keep firearms out of the hands of terrorists.
