Toronto police horse named in honour of slain Sgt. Ryan Russell

Toronto police have named one of their newest police horses after Sgt. Ryan Russell, who was tragically killed by a stolen snow plow in 2011. The four-year-old purebred Clydesdale has been named “Russell” and was introduced by Chief Mark Saunders on Tuesday.
