Canadians are fawning over Friday Steele – a little deer – whose survival story could be a plot for a children’s movie. Last week a doe was struck by a vehicle on a highway near Prince Rupert, B.C. A passerby stopped to help the injured animal, but as Reid Fiest reports, found she was pregnant and was quick to save her unborn fawn.
