Forty-nine people died Sunday after Omar Mateen opened fire at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, making the shoot spree the worst mass shooting in U.S. history. Demetrice Naulings, who survived the incident, emotionally recalled the ‘dark’ scene where he could hear Mateen reloading his gun, and people yelling and running for cover. Naulings went on to say that one of his friends texted him asking for his help because he had been shot.
