HUSAR now it has the funding to put its skills to the test in a major disaster drill

Tue, Jun 14: In an earthquake-prone area like the West Coast, Vancouver’s Heavy Urban Search and Rescue team is a comfort to residents. But, the lack of money to train has made it less of the asset it is meant to be. Now, with an infusion of funds, HUSAR will be staging a full-blown emergency to test its responders.
