2,700 cubic metres of concrete poured into sinkhole to stabilize area

On Thursday, Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson gave an update of the massive sinkhole that opened on May 8 in the downtown core. Watson said “2,700 cubic metres of concrete has been poured into the open hole to stabilize the site and [to] rebuild the road.”
