University of Calgary pays controversial ransom to cyber attackers

Tue, Jun 7: The University of Calgary paid a $20,000 ransom to cyber attackers responsible for a crippling attack on the school’s email networks. As Mia Sosiak, reports the U of C says it had no choice but to pay.
