Making a Difference – Retired principal is giving back in a big way

Mon, Jun 6: Gail Barkic devoted her life to being an educator. 13-years-ago she retired as principal from a Toronto Senior public school – yet she hasn’t stopped working. Gail is a founding member and co-or donator of The Bluffs Food Bank – a job she does for free. It’s a perfect fit since Gail was the eldest of seven children and was taught from an early age how to make a dollar stretch.
