On June 2, former Stanford student, 20-year-old Brock Turner, was sentenced on to six months in county jail and probation for sexually assaulting a woman in January 2015. Turner was facing up to 14 years in state prison. Prior to the sentencing, the victim had an opportunity to address the convicted former student.
