Claire Woodall speaks about park being named after her late husband, EPS Const. Daniel Woodall

Wednesday, June 8 will mark one year since EPS Const. Daniel Woodall was killed in the line of duty in a west Edmonton neighbourhood. On Monday morning his widow, Claire Woodall, said while it’s nearly been a year since his death she’s only recently started to process what happened.

Later this week, a park dedicated to Const. Woodall will open in southwest Edmonton. While speaking to the media Monday, Claire Woodall explained what an honour the park is to her family, particularly her two young boys.
