Fri, Jun 3: In April, we showed you some shocking footage of an unsupervised woman with Alzheimer’s disease falling outside of a Ferguson’s Cove assisted living home. At the time, the municipality was investigating the Grandeur Estates home because it had double the legal number of people living there. The home has since addressed that issue but today there are calls for the provincial government to start regulating these types of homes. Global’s Steve Silva broke this story and has this update.
