On Friday Bob Couture, director of emergency management for the regional emergency operations centre (REOC), told reporters that on June 5 residents who have “destroyed homes outside of restricted areas” will be able to visit their residence. Couture also noted people with homes inside restricted areas would be able to visit their houses beginning June 8. Both of the visitation plans, however, are “on a limited basis.”
