Cosmetic industry lacks mandatory testing, safety the onus of Canadian consumers

Commissioner of Environment and Sustainable Development Julie Gelfand recommended in her spring report on Tuesday that the government should require more Health Canada testing and reporting for cosmetic products, and take the safety incident reporting onus off Canadian consumers.
