Raising awareness about brain tumours

Sat, May 28 – Earlier this week, Gord Downie from the Tragically Hip announced that he had been diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour. On Saturday, a walk aimed at raising awareness about the illness was held in Edmonton. Organizers hope Downie’s battle will foster a greater sense of awareness. Julia Wong reports.
