Wed, May 25: Throughout his teenage years Jobim Novak felt overwhelmed by the voices he heard and the hallucinations he experienced, which were later diagnosed as schizophrenia. He turned to drugs to ease the pain. After years of addiction, a criminal lifestyle, and two attempted suicides, Jobim renewed his commitment to recovery and a healthier life through music.
