Provincial Finance Minister says ‘slowing of the economy’ partly responsible for new budget figures

Minister Cameron Friesen told reporters Wednesday that his government realizes outside factors played a role in Manitoba’s revised budget figures. He did not provide a breakdown as to how they’ve arrived at the new deficit number.
