Fri, May 13: Some members of the LGBTQ community are showing opposition to the Moss Park community centre. The plan would redevelop the John Innes Community Centre and surrounding sports fields. It would be run by The 519, a city agency helping the LGBTQ community in Toronto, and the local councillor says it would add value to the area. But advocates of the poor and members of the trans community say it would marginalize some and push them away from the services they need. Peter Kim reports.
