Toronto Maple Leafs win first overall pick in NHL Draft Lottery

The Toronto Maple Leafs, who finished with the worst record in the NHL this season, won the right to draft first in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. The Maple Leafs haven’t selected first since taking Wendel Clark first overall in 1985.
