Thu, Apr 28: Violence prevention group CeaseFire Halifax says it needs more funding in order to fulfill its goal of breaking the cycle of violence in four targeted Halifax neighbourhoods. The group is meeting with Justice Minister Diana Whalen to make its case. Global’s legislative reporter Marieke Walsh has more.
