4 rooming houses in Moncton have been shut down because they did not meet the fire codes. It’s estimated there are as many as 100 unsafe rooming houses in the city. More properties are expected to be boarded up soon, but many of the tenants have no place else to go. Global’s Shelley Steeves reports.
