On Friday, the City of Edmonton held a groundbreaking for construction on the new Valley Line LRT extension to southeast Edmonton. Although council has given the project the green light, concerned river valley advocates have not. As Sarah Kraus explains, they’re still hoping for a last-minute halt to the project.
