Iceland’s prime minister resigns amid Panama Papers scandal

Iceland’s prime minister Sigmundur David Gunnlaugsson officially resigned on Thursday after alleged involvement in the Panama Papers scandal. Sigurdur Ingi Johannsson has taken over as new prime minister.
