Sat, Apr 2: Canada’s promise of letting in 25,000 refugees from Syria has been fulfilled. There’s still a long way to go to helping these government-sponsored families find homes. In Abbotsford, 20 families – many with children – are still living at the Sandman Hotel. As Julia Foy reports, one woman in Mission was so fed up by the slow pace, she took action.
