Five North Carolina sheriff’s deputies were “disciplined” following an investigation into their professional standards while dealing with protesters at a Donald Trump rally in the state last week. NBC reports two of the deputies were suspended for three days without pay, while the remaining officials were demoted and suspended for five days without pay.
