Sun, Feb 28: Nearly 30 years ago Calgary hosted the 1988 winter olympic games. In many ways those games became the Olympics of the “underdog”. The Jamaican bobsled team was one of the most famous underdogs and years later Hollywood told their story on the big screen. Now another unlikely story is being told. It’s the story of Eddie”The Eagle” who captured the hearts of the world as he tried to soar into history as an olympic ski jumper. Reid Fiest reports.
