B.C. Court of Appeal overturns extradition order in ‘honour killing’ case

Fri, Feb 26: In 2000, a young Maple Ridge woman named Jassi Sidhu was murdered. Her mother, Malkit Kaur Sidhu, and Jassi’s uncle, Surjit Singh Badesha, were charged with the crime, described as an honour killing. Now, as John Daly explains, the B.C. Court of Appeal has overturned an extradition order on the pair.
