‘If you are in an UberX cab right now, get the heck out:’ Scarborough Centre councillor

Glenn De Baeremaeker, councillor for Scarborough Centre, told Torontonians that if they, or somehow they know, are using UberX to “get the heck out” of the cab “right now.” De Baeremaeker said the NBA All-Star happening in the city Feb. 12-14 will be one of the busiest weekendsfor Toronto and residents should therefore reward cab drivers who obey the law by taking their taxi services instead.
