House of Commons security officer Charles Thom awarded Medal of Bravery for his actions during Ottawa shooting

Gov. Gen. David Johnston will present six medals of courage and nine medals of bravery to officers who confronted Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, who stormed Centre Block with a rifle and was later killed in a shootout. Among those being honoured with the Medal of Bravery is House of Commons security officer Maxim Charles Tho.
