Fri, Feb 5: Last November, a proposal to build a quarry not far from Halifax Stanfield International Airport was rejected. It’s now trying again to get approval, and it’s facing the same pushback from nearby residents. A group against the quarry invited reporters to go over the problems they have with the proposal. As Global’s Steve Silva reports, there is debate over whether those problems actually exist.
