NDP MP Nathan Cullen proposed on Thursday that the Liberals should give up their majority on the electoral reform committee and instead have a 12-member group that reflects “how Canadians actually voted.” Cullen suggested there should be “four Liberal MPs – plus a Liberal chair – three Conservative MPs, two New Democrats, one Bloc and one Green” MP.
