Morocco is showing off its new solar power plant on the edge of the Sahara desert. Situated just outside the city of Ouarzazate to the south of the Atlas Mountains, the first phase of the Noor solar plant has been completed and was set to be opened by Morocco’s King Mohammed VI later on Thursday.
