Government to renew relationship with indigenous peoples, have talks regarding environment

Catherine McKenna, the minister of environment and climate change, said on Wednesday that the Canadian government will work and renew its relationship with indigenous peoples when assessing environment plans. McKenna said including indigenous peoples in the conversation will renew “rights, respect, cooperation and partnership.”
