Once-imprisoned Canadian journalist Mohamed Fahmy joined Amnesty International in calling for the Canadian government to take greater action to address Canadians imprisoned abroad. The 12-point “Protection Charter” will outline steps to reform Canada’s consular laws, policies and practices when dealing with Canadians imprisoned abroad.
