15-year-old Trevor Sullivan had been waiting nearly a year for a heart transplant after developing cardiomyopathy, a life-threatening condition which causes the heart to enlarge. Trevor received his new heart and this video shows the moment he woke up to discover he was still alive. The video was posted to Facebook by Trevor’s father for Gift of Life Michigan, an organ donor charity.
