Filippo Grandi, the new United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, was in Jordan on Monday to meet with refugees currently living at a camp in the country and to also speak about the ongoing crisis impacting “tens of thousands.” Grandi said helping refugees isn’t just about having them resettled in neighbouring countries, but for countries globally to share in the efforts of taking on more responsibility in a shared and orderly fashion.
