Whistler celebrates 50th Anniversary

Fri, Jan 15: Today marks 50 years since Whistler Mountain officially opened for skiing. A lot has changed since 1966. Whistler pioneer Hugh Smythe – a man who started on ski patrol in 1966 and retired in 2010 as a Senior VP – takes us through the history of the resort. Chelsea Moen from Whistler Blackcomb explains what is planned to mark the anniversary.
