Prison Food Protest

Another hunger strike at Regina jail has Justice defending private food contract – The Ministry of Justice addressed more concerns today over food quality at the Regina Correctional Centre and other jails across Saskatchewan. The province’s move to privatize food services was touted to save 12-million dollars over the five year contact. But as Brandon Gonez reports the savings may be coming at a cost.
