Asked if he’d consider moving 2026 World Cup matches scheduled in Boston after reported arrests linked to a violent street gathering in the Massachusetts city last week, U.S. President Donald Trump said “yes,” noting that “if somebody is doing a bad job, and if I feel there’s unsafe conditions” he would call the head of FIFA and ask him to relocate the games. The Republican leader also called out Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, calling her “intelligent,” but claiming “she is hurting Boston.”
