It has been well over a decade since Canada announced plans to buy American F-35 fighter jets to modernize the Air Force. Even after a multibillion-dollar deal a few years ago, politics and delays have kept their place in Canada’s military in the air. The aircraft finally made an appearance at a B.C. airshow this weekend, giving a taste of what they can do. Global’s Paul Johnson has the story.
