Carney says Liberals will focus on ‘Made in Canada’ defence procurement

Liberal leader Mark Carney announced on Monday that under his leadership, Canada will be putting a focus on “Made in Canada” defence procurement amid trade woes with the United States. Among his commitments, Carney said “We’ve been talking to our European partners… so that we are part of the defence supply chain… we diversify our reliable partners.”
