Israel and Hamas are at “the closest point” yet in reaching a potential ceasefire deal, according to a mediator. Speaking in Doha on Tuesday, Qatari Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Majed al-Ansari said the “implementation” aspect of the drafted deal is the sole aspect “pending” for both parties.
