It was a short-lived winter break for two of Justin Trudeau’s top cabinet ministers. Dominic LeBlanc and Mélanie Joly have travelled south to pitch Canada’s border plan to U.S. president-elect Donald Trump’s transition team. It marks the second time officials have made the journey since Trump’s victory in November as a 25 per cent tariff threat looms ahead of his inauguration next month. Mackenzie Gray reports.
